Massachusetts Drug Evaluation and Classification Program
The DEC Program in Massachusetts began in 1995. The program started with just two DREs, and today has grown to 64 certified DREs,
26 of whom are DRE Instructors. The program continues to grow, with 4 DRE students in their certification phase, and another school planned
for the spring of 2010.
Drug Impairment Training for Educational Professionals (D.I.T.E.P.) is now being
offered to school districts in Massachusetts. Check out the D.I.T.E.P. link
for information on this exciting program.
The next Drug Recognition Expert School will be held April 19 - 30, 2010, at Camp Edwards, Bourne, MA.

Massachusetts recently completed another DRE School, graduating 16 students.
The class was held at Camp Edwards ANG / Otis Air Force Base, Bourne, MA.
